Frog's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon Frog's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon greets you at first with bouncy stewed plums, true to the plum tone of the wine, and a touch of cedar. Flavors of raspberry round out the beautiful dark fruit profile, followed by cocoa, cloves, cherries, leather and espresso. Grippy, tight tannins (though they should mellow in time) and bright acidity. Not as bold as a typical Napa Cabernet. This gorgeously hearty wine works well with grilled asparagus beside a nice rare steak or a 12-hour brisket. Because it's organic, it would be a detailed touch for a dinner party to serve all organic cuisine.
