Double Eagle Very Rare 20 Year Bourbon is a limited release spirit from the Buffalo Trace Distillery that is exceptional in both flavour and presentation. Bottled with a beautifully crafted crystal glass eagle on both the top of the bottle and inside the bottle, this bourbon spends 20 years aging in an oak barrel and is full of rich oaky flavour. Each bottle is packaged with an individually numbered letter of authenticity to prove its rarity and status as only one of less than 200 bottles produced. The aroma is comprised of dark ripe cherry and creamy caramel. Notes of vanilla, toasted oak, butterscotch, dates, and dark chocolate are carried through on a supremely smooth palate. The finish is deliciously complex, with lingering flavors of cinnamon, oak, and star anise.
