The wineunderwent malolactic fermentation to soften the mouthfeel and wasaged for 12 months in 25% new French oak with medium tomedium-plus toast levels.TASTING NOTESBlending Petite Sirah into this Zinfandel gave it greater perfume, colorand complexity in the glass. A glint of purple against a deep red huehints at the luscious aromas of violets, raspberry and strawberry on thenose. A rich palate of briery fruit, brown spice and vanilla is framed by asubtle thread of white pepper and oak.
