Espolon Tequila Blanco is a tequila produced at the Destiladora San Nicola in the famous hills of Los Altos in Jalisco, where the blue agave plants grow lush like nowhere else. The heart of the agave, the pi??as, are slowly cooked in an autoclave and then crushed to extract the sugars and left to ferment to allow them to turn into alcohol. For the Tequila Blanco a second distillation in alembic is foreseen to give the distinctive smooth and balanced taste.At sight this tequila is perfectly transparent. The nose perceives citrus aromas of lemon and tropical fruit, while on the palate it is particularly soft with the characteristic flavor of agave enriched with nuances of pepper, pineapple flamb and vanilla.
