Overview: Brought up among the grapevines of California, we are a new era ofwinemakers, banding together and venturing out into new anduncharted territory. As the 6th generation of winegrowers in thePhillips family, we wanted to forge a new path in the rugged terrainof the North Coast wine region. It's true that the steep hillsides andcool valleys make for a vastly different terrain than our old stompinggrounds of Lodi, but therein lies the appeal. We're united in our loveof both wine and adventure, and we see the search for the bestvarietals and vineyards as our next challenge. We are the North CoastWine Co., and we're excited to help you discover the many variedappellations of this incredible wine region.Tasting Notes: Produced from a single vineyard in the heart of the Russian River AVA, this Reserve Pinot Noir is our standout lot from the 2018 vintage. The nose offersabundant layers of Bing cherry and herbal notes, followed by flavors of dark berry fruit and peppery spice with a silky, plush mouthfeel. While drinkable now, the wine maintains well-integrated acidity for refreshing structure and ageability.Pairing: Roast turkey, beet salad with goat cheese, lam-chops, dark chocolate.Points:Format/ABV: 750 ml/14.0%In certain circumstances, a specific vintage may not be available.
