Overview:Wines of distinction crafted in the heart of Napa Valley. Merryvale Vineyards produces wines that are complex, balanced and represent the best of each vintage.Drawn from top Napa vineyards: Stagecoach, Hardman Stanton and Greenwoodwith each vineyard fermented separately in small tanks. Native fermentation startedafter a 5-day cold soak and reached a peak temperature of 90°F. The wines werepumped over a few times a day until dry and then pressed and drained to barrelswhere malolactic fermentation occurred. Aged in 50% new medium toast French oakbarrels, the wine matures for 22 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.Tasting Notes: Fresh and vibrant with great mouthfeel and a long finish, this wine is veryapproachable in its youth. Drinking well now, it exhibits classic Napa Cabernet characteristics with surprising depth.
