The nose is powerful, a myriad of flavor abound from the glass; blackberries, vanilla beans, crushed violets, toffee, anise, dark roast coffee, cocoa and much more. Under these bigger aromatics there is amazing volcanic minerality. The full viscosity of the wine causes a velvety sensation in the mouth.Reviews:Wine Advocate: Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Rattlesnake charges out of the gate with bold notions of cr??me de cassis, plum preserves and juicy blueberries, plus hints of Indian spices, cedar and camphor. Full-bodied, rich, expressive and spicy in the mouth, it has velvety tannins and bright acidity, finishing with epic length.Producer InformationBarnett Vineyards is a Californian wine producer situated in the Napa Valley. The estate specializes in single-vineyard Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc wines produced from its vineyard plots in Spring Mountain District. In addition to its signature wine range, the estate also produces a selection of single-vineyard Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc wines. These are made from grapes sourced from vineyards both in Spring Mountain and other parts of Napa Valley and Sonoma. Rattlesnake Cabernet Sauvignon sits at the top of the range. It is made from fruit from the highest part of the estate vineyards. Fiona and Hal Barnett founded Barnett Vineyards in 1983 when they acquired a 16-hectare (40-acre) site in Spring Mountain. They planted their new estate to Cabernet Sauvignon and six years later these vines supplied the grapes for the first of Barnett Vineyards' Cabernet Sauvignon vintages. A total of 232 cases of wine were made in this inaugural release year. Today production has increased to up to 6000 cases of wine per annum.
